About this event
Many of you have been asking for this since 2022. On May 16 we’ll be hosting an advanced/intermediate only driver day.
This event is open to instructors, advanced drivers and solo signed off intermediate drivers. We will be running two run groups for the day – and may adjust to open track based on participation and traffic as the day goes on. As an HPDE, breakout group discussions will be held as normal following track time and limited in-car instruction will be available as requested. So lots of track time in a fun, relaxed format. We hope to see you there.
Please make sure your driving resume is up to date in MSR so that we can evaluate your solo bona fides. If you have any questions about your qualifications for this event, please contact cdi@bmw-club-psr.org
Cost: $375 for the day, including lunch. Note: MSR has added an additional $2 fee per registration unless you are a Hagerty Drivers Club member.
Registration will close 7 days prior to the event or when the event reaches capacity.
Confirmation: You be waitlisted initially and confirmed as soon as possible given run group capacity and instructor availability. You will be charged upon confirmation.
BMWCCA Puget Sound Region has provided driving events at Pacific Raceway and other tracks for more than 40 years. We have a very good safety record and an experienced group of volunteer staff.

Attendees are assigned to run groups by the Chief Driving Instructor, based on the skills and abilities of the driver, vehicle, and other participating drivers. Passing rules run from limited to open depending on run group. Drivers are expected to advance over time with improving skills and abilities.
Following time on track, run groups will meet in educational breakout sessions for discussion about the track, conditions, traffic management, driving theory, and tips for improvement.

As a non-profit entity, it is BMW CCA PSR's goal to provide exceptional events while breaking even financially. Event expenses (venue rental, corner workers, ambulance services, catering, etc.) are fixed and paid in advance. BMW CCA PSR could increase fees for everyone to cover the costs of late cancellations, but we believe it is better for everyone to have a 2-week cancellation policy to keep fees as low as possible. The cancellation policy for this event is as follows:
• Cancellations received prior to the end of day 5/2/2024 will be 100% refunded.
• No refunds or credits will be given if cancelled after the time stated above or if you do not attend the event.
• It is the attendee’s responsibility to prepare and bring a vehicle that is safe for the event and meets the club’s safety and technical requirements. There will be no refunds for mechanical failure.
• No refunds will be issued due to halting an event for any reason - rain, incident, etc.
